A few decades ago a bad genie plucked out the Lebanese mountain and shook it upside down to empty it out of its inhabitants.

Some managed to hold on; others fell, got hurt or died. One group was swept away by the sea, never to return.

The bad genie is now gone. People are slowly climbing back up their ancestral mountain, rebuilding their lives. For others the fall was too big, too traumatizing. These will never come back.

Today, the mountain is recovering, carrying its wounds, its painful secrets, and its silenced history. Yet for those who know how and where to look, it is still beautiful, alive.
